I am very honored to serve PCES as the instructional coach. My educational journey began in Fayette County in 2008 as a paraprofessional in a self-contained special education classroom working with the EBD program. I graduated from the University of Phoenix with a BS Ed. in Early Childhood Education in 2014. In 2015 I moved to Henry County as a 5th grade ELA and Science teacher and then to a 3rd grade teaching position. In 2016 I earned my Master’s degree in Reading and Literacy from Walden University, followed by my Gifted Endorsement in 2017. In 2019 I received my Specialist’s degree in Media and Educational Technology. Over the last few years I have also become a Certified Educator for BrainPop and Nearpod. Additionally, I have received my Google Level 1 and Level 2 Certifications. I am currently working on becoming a Google Certified Trainer.
My husband, Robert, is a police lieutenant and we have a three year old daughter, Ashlynn. Robert is an avid hunter and we enjoy hunting and fishing together. Ashlynn loves playing outside in her sandbox or cooking for us in her play kitchen. Additionally, I enjoy embroidery and applique in my free time.
I joined the 3rd grade team here at PCES for the 19-20 school year. I am very excited to transition into the Instructional Coach position and continue serving students alongside our amazing staff. I have a passion for integrating technology and authentic experiences for students and I look forward to working alongside my peers as we develop the best learning experiences for our students.

At PCES, we strive to instill an excitement for learning in each student. Our teachers and staff are highly qualified, and while academics come first, our school is also unique in that we offer a broad range of extracurricular activities and clubs. This includes an art club, beta club, chorus, and an acting club.
